iş stresini atacağınız oyunlar demiştim, kimi beğendi kimi beğenmedi, kimi oynadı kafasını dağıttı, kimi oynadı keyif aldı derken şimdi de sizi strese sokacak oyunları yazıyorum.. ben hem zorlandım hem eğlendim oynarken, umarım siz de eğlenirsiniz.. hayatı falan sorgulamayabilirsiniz ama düşünce gücünüzü zorlayabilirsiniz.

İşimize kısa bir ara verdiğimizde, kafamızı boşaltmak için bazen elimiz oyunlara gidiverir. İşte tam da bu anlarda işinizi görecek 10 oyun:

1. Filler: Balon şişirmeyi seviyorsanız bu oyuna bayılacaksınız.

Ortalıkta başıboş dolaşan toplardan kaçarak ekranın 2/3'ünü şişirdiğiniz toplarla doldurmanız gerekiyor. 1. bölümde 2 can ve 20 top hakkıyla oyuna başlıyorsunuz, bölümler zorlaştıkça haklarınız artıyor. Buradan oyunu izleyebilirsiniz, buradan oynayabilirsiniz.

2. Red Remover: Amaç, ekranda gördüğünüz kırmızı şeyleri yere düşürmek, yeşil şeyleri ekranda tutmak.

A few weeks ago we posted a code example for creating a table of contents for your workbook.

Dennis offers another approach with this code sample for creating a TOC with hyperlinks. Dennis' code uses the PageSetup.Pages().Count property, introduced in Excel 2007, to calculate the number of pages on each sheet. In addition, the entries in the TOC link to their respective sheets to improve on-screen workbook navigation.

In this article I'll explain how to ease importing of .txt, .prn and/or .csv files into an existing sheet in Excel.

Introduction

If you've ever tried to open a text file, you have probably used the Text import wizard.

If you have ever opened a CSV file, you have probably noted you can't set up how it gets imported. The text import wizard does not start for these file types.

What if you have the situation where you get files with similar structure, which need the same text import settings over and over?

How do you import the data from those files into the same worksheet each time, without having to re-define the import settings over and over again?

I'll tell you.

Setting up which file (type) to import

First select the sheet where your data needs to appear. Note that the following steps differ for the various Excel versions.

Excel 2010/2007

On the ribbon, click the data tab and then click the "From Text" button on the "Get External data" group.

From the menu, select Data, Get External Data, Import Data. The following dialog opens:

In this dialog, choose the "Text files" option and then navigate to your file:

All versions: defining the import settings

So far we've selected what to import. Now it is time to define what settings we need for the import. This section applies to all Excel versions as of Excel XP (and maybe even older). The screenshots shown here may look slightly different from yours, but the principle is the same.

Click the Open button. The text import wizard opens up:

In this example I have selected to import a delimited file and set the file origin to Windows (ANSI). Click Next when you're happy with the settings.

Click Next again to go into the third step, where you can select a format for each column of your file. I changed the date format of the first column to dmy order. Click a column to set up its formatting.

You can click the advanced button to set up details like the decimal and thousands separators (note I switched them here):

Note that any changes made in this dialog apply to all columns.

After you finished defining all columns, click the Finish button. Excel opens the Import Data dialog, asking where to put the results. Select the proper location.

Hold your horses, don't click OK yet! Click the properties button instead. The External Data Range Properties dialog opens up. There are some very important settings to be made here!

Note that I have highlighted some important features in this dialog. I'll discuss them below.

Save Query Definition

We wouldn't want to redo the settings each time, so lets keep this one checked!

Prompt for the file name on refresh

Checking this box forces Excel to prompt you for a file name each time you hit the refresh button. Leave this box unchecked if you are importing the same file over and over.

Overwrite existing cells with new data, clear unused cells

What selection is best here depends on your needs entirely. The first two will force Excel to push existing data down and pull existing data up, depending on the size of your file.

I recommend NOT to put anything below an area where you are importing data; use a dedicated worksheet for this purpose.

Fill down formulas in columns adjacent to data

A very useful option. If you are planning to do calculations on each row, this option ensures each row of data will have your formulas.

Hit OK if you're happy with the settings.

Import your data

Finally, click OK to have your data imported. My sheet looks like this:

Now that you have properly set up your import, save your file!

Refresh your data

All of this was meant to predefine an import routine you have to do over and over again. So how do you import a new file? Easy. Click any cell within your sheet that holds data of a previous import.

Next, we'll need to split this up in two sections again, because the various Excel versions differ in how it is done.

Excel 2010/2007

On the Data tab, find the group called "Connections". Click the dropdown "Refresh All" and select "Refresh:

If you have set the option to prompt for a file, Excel will open the appropriate dialog. Select your file and click Import.

Excel 2003 and older

In Excel 2003, the refresh button can be found in two places.

1. On the Data menu (you need have a cell selected within an imported table):

So there you go, all set!

Conclusion

Importing text files into Excel can be a labor-intensive process if you're going through the same steps over and over again. With proper use of the data import options Excel offers, you can save yourself quite some work and at the same time improve consistency.

skills? Introducing the AnalogX Vocal Remover for WinAmp! The vocal remover
will work on many of the stereo recordings available on the market (although with
MP3 it really makes some of the audio artifacts much more noticable - the DirectX
version will yield cleaner results)... The vocals are not completely removed in
most cases, but they are low enough that you usually can barely hear them.
Currently the program removes vocals much in the same way the hardware devices
do - by making the assumption that vocals are usually recorded equally on both
channels, while the music itself is not. By making this assumption, you can
remove whatever is the same in both channels by changing their phase relationship
by 180 degrees, and then summing the two channels. The plugin REQUIRES a stereo
input, if you do not give it the left and right channels, it will not process
the incoming stream, but instead just pass it through There will be some big
improvements to this in the future versions, as this is only the beginning...

Now, for certain styles of music you might end up removing more than the
vocals - there really is no way around this - but there are some benefits to
this as well. I use this technique all the time to rip out drum loops, and
depending on the style of music you can use this to easily rip out specific
instruments as well!

In order to use this plugin, you must have WinAmp 2.0 or greater installed. It
also requires a stereo stream to work properly, and the higher the bitrate the
better. To enable it, just go into the Preferences (CTRL-P), and select
'AnalogX Vocal Remover' from the list; a slider will appear on the screen that
will allow you to adjust the amount of the effect (0% = normal; 100% = totally
processed).

The most common problem people have when installing the program is putting it
in the wrong directory. If it doesn't show up in the WinAmp program, simply
search your system for the file 'dsp_vr.dll' and copy it into the
WinAmp/Plugins directory.

If you have a home or small office network with computers in several locations, you may want to work on them all from one machine. Today we take a look at the Remote Desktop feature in WIndows that allows you to connect to each computer on the network in XP, Vista, and Windows 7.

Note: Remote Desktop is not a feature available in Home version of Windows.

Enable Remote Desktop in Vista and Windows 7

The first thing we need to do is enable Remote Desktop on a Windows 7 or Vista machine. Right-click on the Computer icon on the desktop or from the Start menu and select Properties.

Now click on the Advanced system settings link.

Click on the Remote tab and under Remote Desktop select the bottom radio button… Allow connections only from computers running Remote Desktop with Network Level Authentication (more secure).

You can also select what which users on the network will have Remote Desktop access.

Enable Remote Desktop in XP

Enabling XP in Remote Desktop is basically the same. Right-click on My Computer and select Properties, click the Remote tab and under the Remote Desktop section, click the box next to Allow users to connect remotely to this computer.

Using Remote Desktop

Now when a co-worker or member of your family needs help, or you want to work on computers in other locations and don't want to site at each machine, you can remote into them. Pull up Remote Desktop and enter in the name or IP address of the other computer.

The first time you try to remote in (where in this example I'm remoting into a home server), you may get a security screen which you'll want to allow and can select to not show again.

When you log in you will need to type in the name and password before connecting.

Now you can work on the Windows Home Server from a desktop computer in the living room.

Logging into a Vista machine is the same process…enter the user name and password for that machine.

And then you can can start working on the Vista machine.

Here we're remoting from a Windows 7 machine into an XP computer on the home network, and another security message is displayed. It's a bit different than when remoting into a server, but again you can choose not to have it pop up every time you connect.

Options

When remoting into a machine, there are different options you can select before starting the session that will change the Remote Desktop experience. You'll need to experiment with these settings to find what works best for you. If you're looking to make the process faster, especially on older hardware, turn down the display size and color of the remote connection. It might not be as pretty, but you can get work done more quickly.

While you're logged into the other computer, the user will be locked out while your in it…

So make sure the person sitting at the machine your working on doesn't try to log in during your session because they will log you out.

Conclusion

Unfortunately Remote Desktop is not a feature in Home editions of XP, Vista, or Windows 7. However, there are several free utilities and services you can use to get the same results, and we will take a look at some of them in the. IT guys already know about the great benefits of Remote Desktop, but if your starting out with a small network, this should help you get started in using it. If you do have Professional, Business, Enterprise, or Ultimate editions of Vista or Windows 7 or XP Pro installed on the machines on your network, using Remote Desktop is a great way to work on them from a central machine.

The really ironic thing is that I'd written an article scheduled for next week on how to do just that. Oh well, this is much better anyway.

Using SUPERAntiSpyware Portable

Once you've launched the application on an infected machine, you should see a welcome screen, and you can just click the button to start it up.

Pick your language...

And just like that, you're in the main interface. If you haven't used the regular SUPERAntiSpyware before, you should click the Scan your Computer button—though if you've had it sitting on your system for a while you might want to use the update check first.

Select the locations to scan, and choose to Perform Complete Scan (there's no point in a quick scan on an infected machine).

The application will scan through the system and find anything bad on the system, and then let you remove it all easily. Note: this is a screenshot from an infected machine that we successfully cleaned using SUPERAntiSpyware.

So there you have it, a full endorsement from How-To Geek for SUPERAntiSpyware. I have personally used it to clean at least a dozen machines infected with really terrible rogue/fake antimalware applications.

Note: SUPERAntiSpyware is not an anti-virus software, and is meant for removing spyware and rogue applications that hold your PC for ransom. You still need Microsoft Security Essentials for your real-time protection.

Are you looking for a faster way to browse the Internet and have pages load faster? If so, you might be interested in trying out Google Public DNS, here we will take a look at adding it to your router or home computer.

DNS (Domain Name System) translates an IP address to an easy to remember hostname. If you use your ISPs DNS settings by default, it may not be the fastest way to get to your favorite sites. We have previously recommended the service OpenDNS as speeds are usually faster than your ISP and it offers several other cool options. Google has recently launched a free public DNS service, and we'll take a look at setting it up on your PC or router.

Add Google DNS to a Window Computer

To add Google Public DNS to your Windows 7 machine, right-click on Network and choose Properties.

Alternatively, you can enter Network and Sharing Center into the search box in the Start Menu.

The Network and Sharing Center opens and you'll want to click on Change adapter settings which is located on the right side of the screen.

Now right-click on Local Area Connection and select Properties. If you have a wireless connection, right-click on Wireless Network Connection and click Properties.

The Local Area Connection Properties screen opens and you'll want to highlight Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) then click the Properties button.

The Internet Protocol Version 4 Properties window comes up. If you already have DNS settings listed, make sure to copy or write them down in case you want to switch back. Select Use the following DNS server addresses and type in the following for Preferred and Alternate DNS server:

Note: According to Google you can interchange the Primary and secondary address, but don't use the same number for both.

Preferred DNS Server: 8.8.8.8
Alternate DNS Server: 8.8.4.4

Click Ok and then close out of the remaining windows and reboot your system, then you'll want to test out the settings. Basically browse around to your bookmarked sites and make sure they display properly.

Another test you might want to try is type in an IP address directly into your browser for instance you can enter http://208.43.115.82 into the address bar and make sure howtogeek.com displays properly.

Add Google DNS to Your Router

In this example we are using a Belkin Wireless Router. Each router varies but the principle is the same. Go into your router configuration settings by typing the Router IP into your browser. For example for the Belkin router the default is 192.168.2.1.

Enter the router password if you're asked for it, then find the DNS settings. In our Belkin example it is under Internet WAN.

Enter in the login password again if asked for it.

Now enter in the primary and secondary DNS addresses and apply changes. Again according to Google you can interchange the Primary and secondary address, but don't use the same number for both. We set ours up as the following:

Primary: 8.8.8.8
Secondary: 8.8.4.4

After you apply the DNS changes your router may need to restart, where in the case of a Belkin it is a 40 second reboot. After the router reboots, go through and test the settings to verify they work.

Add Google DNS to Ubuntu Linux

Here we will take a look at adding Google DNS to Ubuntu 9.10. Click on System \ Preferences \ Network Connections.

Select the Ethernet or Wireless connection and click on Edit.

Click on the IPv4 Settings tab and change the Method drop down box to Automatic (DHCP) address only. In the DNS Servers field enter in the two Google DNS addresses separated by a space then click Apply.

Type in your system password and click on Authenticate and close out of the remaining screens. Then go through your browser and make sure the settings were successful.

Conclusion

I've been using it for the past few days and pages load a bit snappier with Google DNS settings over OpenDNS, and extremely faster than my ISP. While pages display a bit quicker with Google DNS, it doesn't have the extra cool settings of OpenDNS like Content Filtering, Typo Correction, user dashboard and more. Of course you can add it to your Mac computer as well and any servers if you wish. I've read varying reports, and it looks like international users will benefit a lot from using it. Windows: Microsoft's SyncToy is a simple but effective tool for mirroring folders across hard drive locations, networks, or USB devices. With a 2.1 update, it's been retooled to run faster, back up configurations, and handle errors much better.

We've previously featured SyncToy as a handy way to sync files between computers and share an iTunes library. It also ended up ranking among our readers' five favorite syncing tools. 2.1 isn't a huge update with new features, but it does utilize a new syncing framework, and a few annoyance fixes that will win over those who dig this "toy":

Better Performance: The speed of file copy operations is significantly increased across the board.

Improved Robustness: Much more resilient to transient network and file system errors and better error reporting which pin-points which file the sync failed on in case there's a fatal error that stops the sync.

Folder pair configuration backup: Folder pair configuration is automatically backed up under %localappdata%\microsoft\synctoy\2.0. User can replace SyncToyDirPairs.bin with the backup copy to resolve last saved configuration.

There are also a few bug fixes—notable among them is a fix for NAS syncing failure. SyncToy 2.1 is a free download for Windows systems, including 7, only.

Let's face it, the built-in Alt-Tab doesn't have much going for it in the eye-candy department, but we've come across an excellent replacement utility with awesome, gigantic previews that show you exactly what window you are switching to. This is what Windows should have been built with in the first place.

It's a little difficult to showcase how well this thing works with a screenshot, but you can see the partially transparent Alt-Tab switcher window, complete with a massive preview window and the window titles easily readable.

VistaSwitcher works on XP, Vista, and Windows 7... but it really works best on a system with Aero support, since the Compositing Desktop Window Manager (DWM) built into Windows Vista and Windows 7 makes it run silky smooth.

Awesome Keyboard Window Manipulation
Once you've brought up the Alt-Tab dialog, you can use the "S" key to select more than one window at a time—and then you can use the C, V, or H keys to either Cascade, Tile Vertically, or Tile Horizontally for just the windows that you've selected. The X key will close them, or the M key will minimize them... there's actually a whole set of hotkeys that you can use to manipulate open windows.

Switch Between Open Instances of a Single Application

One of the few features that I've always been jealous of from the Mac OS X operating system is the Alt+` shortcut key that switches between open windows of a single application—and now with VistaSwitcher, I've got that feature on Windows.

Just hit the Ctrl+Alt+Tab shortcut key combination, and you'll be able to switch between just windows from that same process—in my case, I'm switching between open Google Chrome windows.

Awesome Tip: If you head into the preferences, you can re-map the "Application windows hotkey" to Alt+` and get the same feature built into Mac OS X – it will allow you to just switch between open windows of the same type.

Tweaking VistaSwitcher

Want to tweak the preview screenshot size? No problem, just crank the width and height up a bit, and slowly increase the number of items value. You'll have to tweak the settings for your own personal preferences, but having a full-size switcher makes it really easy to flip between applications.

For my 1920x1080 display, I changed the item width to 600, the item height to 42, and number of items to 15. This ended up giving me a switcher window that was nearly full-screen, making switching between applications so much easier.

The "Window" style setting changes the preview window from being a full view of the desktop, and just showing the window itself. In my testing that didn't work as well, but since the app is still in beta it doesn't seem like a big problem.

VistaSwitcher actually has support for multiple monitors, so you can filter tasks for just the monitor you are on. Excellent!

The Exclusions tab lets you filter some applications from the preview, or exclude from the task list entirely. It's an excellent additional feature to an already excellent application.

Summary
Yeah, if you don't like awesome eye-candy and increased usability this might not be the thing for you. Otherwise, you should at least give it a test drive. It's still in beta, so there's a possibility of crashing here or there, but NTWind Software is a very reputable website—we've been using their utilities for years on all of our PCs here at HTG HQ.

Remember the days before digital cameras when Polaroid pictures were the latest technology and coolest thing? Today we take a look at Rollip, which is a site that adds the classic look and feel of vintage Polaroid pictures.

The site is simple to use, just go to the home page to get started.

Right now they have a total of 12 different effects you can use, and they are always accepting ideas for new ones.

Next choose the type of decorations to add to the Polaroid. The simpler ones bring me back to the shoebox my mom has full of these with dates and names written on the edges with black marker.

Enter in the text you want to include on the Polaroid.

Upload you photo and wait a few seconds while it processes, then you can preview how it looks and download it to your collection.

This site is a lot of fun if you want to add that old school Polaroid look to your digital photos.

Set Up Multi-Pane Viewing in Firefox

Do you have a wide monitor and a desire to make efficient use of it while browsing with Firefox? Now you can set up your browser window just the way that you want with the Split Browser extension.
Options

Once you have installed the extension and restarted Firefox, the best place to start is with a good look through the options. In the "General Area" you can choose the preferences that you desire for auto-focusing, synchronous scrolling, and split tab behavior.

Select the options that you would like to have active for your split panes and the appearance options that you prefer to have for split buttons in the "Appearance Area".

Choose how you would like to handle search results in the "Combination Area".

In the "Menu Area" you have the option to disable the "Split Menu" for the "Menu Bar" and also choose the commands that you prefer to have included in your "Context Menu".

Decide if you would like to save the state/setup of the split panes and the number of times that you would like to be able to reopen them in the "State Area".

Toolbar Buttons
If you would like to add toolbar buttons for the extension, there are six that you can choose from.

For our purposes we chose to use the "Main Split Browser Toolbar Button". This is the menu that is available when you click on it.

The same exact menu can be accessed through the optional "Split Menu" in the "Menu Bar". Choose the one that best suits your personal preferences and UI setup.

This is how the "Context Menu" looks with a single pane open…time to get started on opening those extra panes!
Note: You can easily adjust the width and height of panes using your mouse.

Once you get at least two panes open, you will notice a new sub-menu available in your "Context Menu".

All the articles for one day open in the same browser window…not bad at all.

This looks really nice…full width reading for both articles.

Conclusion
If you have a wide monitor (or monitors) and want to make good use of that screen real-estate, then the Split Browser extension is definitely worth taking a look at.

Windows'u yeniden kurduktan sonra işlerimizi kolaylaştırmak için ek programlara ihtiyaç duyarız. Ayrıca bunlar için para ödemektense (hemen hemen) aynı işi yapabilen, üstüne üstelik ücretsiz olan uygulamaları tercih etmek sanırım herkesin yararına olacaktır. Yeni bir Windows kurulumundan sonra aşağıdaki açık kaynak uygulamalarını da unutmamak gerekir.

* Web tarayıcıları

Deneyimli kullanıcıların çoğu artık Firefox, Opera ya da Google Chrome kullanıyor. Internet Explorer kullananların sayısı her geçen gün azalmakta. Bu tarayıcılar farklı kılan şey, eklentilere sahip olması. Firefox eklentiler olmadan pek bir şey anlam ifade etmiyor. Diğerleri için de bu durum söz konusu. Firefox'un her yeni sürümü çıktıkça, ram ihtiyacı giderek artıyor; düşük konfigürasyonlu bilgisayarlarda kilitlenmelere yol açabilmekte. Chrome ise henüz çok yeni olmasına rağmen hızlı ve stabil olması sayesinde kullanıcılar tarafından tercih edilmeye başlandı. Opera için sanırım fazla söze gerek yok. Bilen biliyor. Son olarak K-Meleon var pek bilinmiyor Firefox ve Opera'nın en iyi özellikleri harmanlamış.

Backup Important Files to Gmail with Backup To EMail

Do you like backing your files up online and also happen to have a Gmail account? Now you can easily backup your files in your Gmail account with Backup To EMail.

Note: Backup To EMail is also known as Send To GMail.

Setup

Installation of Backup To EMail is simple and straightforward. Once you have finished with the installation process and have started the program up, this is the window that you will see.

Clicking on the Advanced Button will show the following window. You can sign into your Gmail account here and also see details regarding a pro version if you would like to use other E-mail Service providers.

A quick look at the System Tray icon and the Right Click Menu…

Once you have entered your Gmail User Name and Password, you will see the following message.

Backup To EMail in Action

To get started backing your files up, right click on the file and select/click on "Backup To EMail".

Once you have selected/clicked on "Backup To EMail", you will see a Progress Window like this. Click "OK" when the upload is finished to close the window.

As you can see, the file was quickly sent to our Gmail account and this is the view when we opened the e-mail. Notice that the file was placed directly into the Inbox.

Conclusion

Backup To EMail provides a quick and easy way to store backups of your files in your Gmail account. With the addition of a Mail Filter, you can easily bypass the Inbox and have your files "presorted" with their own label.

Feeling in an artistic mood and looking for a nice program to express yourself with? Enjoy a relaxing afternoon or evening with SmoothDraw.

Setup

SmoothDraw is quick and easy to set up on your computer. Once you have finished the installation, this is what you will see when you start SmoothDraw up. The layout is nicely laid out and easy to navigate.

A good look at the various menus for SmoothDraw. Everything that you need is here and there are no options for you to have to worry about.

SmoothDraw in Action

For our example, we decided to do some modifications to the anime picture shown below.

Working on typing some text after adding three large stars to the skyline in our picture. The text is easy to move to the location that you need it to be in for your images. The Input Text Box makes it very convenient to work with text while you are typing (nice!).

Here you can see where we decided to go back and add some very small stars to help fill out the skyline. Notice the brush size and ink flow adjustments in the left side of the window…this makes it very easy to adjust the pencils, pens, brushes, and effects to the exact size and style that you need (terrific!).

Once you have finished drawing or modifying your images, SmoothDraw can save them in the following formats.

Conclusion

Whether you are looking to draw free-hand or modify images, SmoothDraw can be a lot of fun for you and your family. This wonderful little program can be especially nice to have around for your children.
